Special Orders: Making Babies Boys or Girls

Many people considering having a child find themselves longing for a particular sex. If there were a magic potion to make girl babies or boy babies, I'm sure it would be flying off the shelves! However, no one has yet to come up with such a toddy. But there are some particular things to consider when trying to conceive the baby of your choice.
1. If you want to conceive a girl, intercourse should occur no closer than 4 days before the day of ovulation. The theory behind this tip is that girl sperm tend to be heartier than boy sperm. If the sperm are forced to wait for the egg, the boy sperm will die before the egg is released. On the other hand, the girl sperm will still be alive and waiting for their big moment.
2. If you want to conceive a boy, intercourse should occur the day before and the day of ovulation. The boy sperm are thought to be faster swimmers and would therefore reach the egg before the girls.
3. If you want to conceive a girl, try the missionary position. Rear-entry intercourse is thought to favor the making of boys.
4. If you want to conceive a girl, try to make the vagina as acidic as possible, since sperm don't tolerate the acidity well. The heartier girl sperm will be able to withstand the environment while the boy sperm will not. To make the vagina acidic, try a douche of water and vinegar before intercourse.
5. If you want to conceive a boy, a more alkaline environment will be more beneficial. Try a douche of water and baking soda before intercourse.
There is of course no foolproof way to conceive the gender of your choice, but it never hurts to try. Maybe these tips will help you have the baby you desire.
